Founded in 2019 by senior engineers out of CASE Inc. and WeWork, the team brings more than a decade of experience shipping software inside the built environment, combining backgrounds in architecture, real estate, data analysis, automation, software development, and agile management. Lagarsoft operates as a US company that is Uruguay-based and globally distributed, with senior engineers and architects working together across the Americas.

Origins

The company's origin gives it a distinctive perspective. Its founders first met at CASE, a global Building Information Modeling consultancy that pioneered the idea that "buildings = data," using technology to reshape how architecture and construction teams worked.

After CASE was acquired by WeWork, the team helped build software to manage WeWork's massive real estate portfolio. When WeWork closed its Uruguay office, the team chose to continue that vision independently, founding Lagarsoft to bring data-driven, agile software solutions to AEC firms worldwide.
