It supports Generic Annotation, Detail Component, Profile, Casework, Entourage, Furniture and Generic Model family types, and lets users set the family origin and remove the original 2D elements used to create it.

QuickFamily Overview
QuickFamily is a free Revit plug-in from Camilion, an Autodesk Authorized Developer based in Barcelona, Spain. It lets a Revit user turn selected 2D elements into a reusable family without ever leaving the project environment, replacing the slower default workflow of opening a family template, redrawing geometry, and reloading it into the project.
To use it, a user opens a 2D view in an active Revit project, clicks the Quick Family button on the ribbon, and selects the 2D elements to convert. In the dialog that follows, they name the family and choose its category from the supported types: Generic Annotation, Detail Component, Profile, Casework, Entourage, Furniture, and Generic Model. QuickFamily lets the user set the family's origin point and optionally delete the original 2D elements once the family has been created.
QuickFamily currently works with detail lines and supports Autodesk Revit versions 2018 through 2027. It is distributed free of charge with no trial period, and can be downloaded directly from Camilion's site.
