Easy Specs
Easy Specs is a desktop application that helps Canadian AEC firms write construction specifications faster. Users upload drawing PDFs, and it analyzes every sheet to build a detailed observation list covering materials, assemblies, and systems across all disciplines (architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, civil, landscape, process).
From that, it proposes and generates industry standard specification sections in a full three-part format, editable in plain English. It supports multi-stage projects, firm-specific reference materials, and exports to Word with optional cover pages, seals, and tracked changes — turning a labor-intensive manual process into a guided, single-click workflow.

Easy Specs Overview
Easy Specs — Intelligent Specification Writing Software for Architecture Firms
Easy Specs is a desktop application built for Canadian architecture firms that turns architectural drawing sets into organized, project-specific construction specifications. Instead of manually cross-referencing drawings against a specification library, users upload their drawing PDFs and Easy Specs reads every sheet — titles, keynotes, material schedules, and drawing notes — across architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, civil, landscape, and process disciplines, building a detailed observation list that drives everything the software writes.
From that analysis, Easy Specs proposes a complete list of relevant sections organized by industry standard division numbers, with the reasoning and source drawings behind each suggestion. Users select what they need and generate full three-part specifications (General, Products, Execution) in a single batch. Every section can be refined directly inside the editor by describing the desired change in plain English — no manual editing required — with full undo/redo support.
Easy Specs supports the realities of a working specification practice: multi-stage projects (Preliminary through Issued for Construction) with per-stage drawing sets and automatic stage locking, bilingual output (English/French), and both Canadian and USA formatting conventions with metric or imperial unit ordering. Firms can build a lasting knowledge base by importing external project specifications, a firm-wide master spec, or reusable front ends — each completed section also feeds back into future projects automatically, so the software's output reflects a firm's established language and standards over time.
Specification style is configurable per project, including Prescriptive vs. Performance writing, Outline vs. full three-part detail, and support for major sustainability rating programs (LEED, Passive House, and others). Finished work exports to Word as a watermarked Draft with tracked changes for internal review, or a clean Final issue with an optional project title page, firm seals, and table of contents.
Built specifically for the workflow of architectural specification writers, Easy Specs replaces a labor-intensive manual process with a guided, project-driven system — without asking firms to change how they already work.

Krafzen AI is building AI-powered drafting and workflow automation tools for the AEC industry, helping architecture and engineering teams generate layouts, streamline design workflows, and move from concept to execution faste
Ichi
Ichi is an AI-powered platform that helps architecture, engineering, and construction teams review complex project documents more efficiently. It supports building code compliance, automated QA/QC, construction administration, and firm-wide knowledge management. By analyzing drawings, submittals, RFIs, and other documents, Ichi identifies missing information, potential conflicts, and items requiring attention, helping teams reduce repetitive work, improve accuracy, and make faster, better-informed project decisions.
InspectMind AI
InspectMind is an AI-powered platform that reviews construction drawings, specifications, and submittals for potential code violations, coordination conflicts, constructability issues, and missing information. Designed for architects, engineers, contractors, owners, and municipalities, it provides evidence-backed findings that help teams complete plan checks and QA/QC more efficiently. By identifying costly issues earlier, InspectMind supports faster reviews, stronger documentation, reduced rework, and better-informed decisions throughout project planning and delivery across diverse project types.
Kestrel Labs
Kestrel is building code compliance software that runs inside Revit, checking BIM models against jurisdiction-specific requirements during design. It flags issues directly on model elements and ties every result to a cited code section. Teams run compliance checks continuously, not just at plan check, so problems surface while they are still easy to fix. Kestrel brings building code into the model, giving teams a clear, real-time understanding of where their project stands.
NYC Zoning AI
NYC Zoning AI automates zoning analysis across all 875,000 New York City properties. The platform instantly calculates FAR, identifies air rights, evaluates ADU eligibility, flags bonus development scenarios, and generates 3D zoning envelope massing, replacing hours of manual code research with accurate, on-demand results.
Melt Bid
MeltBid by MeltPlan is an AI bid leveling agent built for general contractors in preconstruction. The traditional bid leveling process takes estimators hours of manual work — cross-referencing PDFs, building spreadsheets by hand, and hoping nothing slips through the cracks. MeltBid compresses that down to minutes.
