Material Bank
Material Bank is a marketplace where architects and interior designers search, compare and order free physical samples of finishes, surfaces and products from hundreds of manufacturers. Samples from different brands arrive together in one box, with next-day delivery for orders placed by the evening cutoff. The European platform lists more than 45,000 materials from over 450 brands, and in the DACH region the company runs a physical material library in Stuttgart, formerly known as Raumprobe.

Material Bank Overview
Material Bank is a search and sampling platform for architectural and interior materials. Founded in 2019 by Adam Sandow in Boca Raton, Florida, it lets design professionals browse products from many manufacturers in one place and order samples free of charge. The brands pay for the service, and the designer receives a single consolidated package the next day instead of chasing samples from each supplier. In Europe the service runs at materialbank.eu, with a logistics site near Paris and a strong presence in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Europe and DACH

Raumprobe founders Joachim Stumpp and Hannes Bäuerle became Managing Directors for DACH, and the space now operates as Material Bank Studio, combining in-person browsing and events with the online sampling service.

MOM (Maison&Objet and More)
