AEC Hub Platform

AEC Hub Platform

1

The AI layer for architecture and engineering firms. AI models know the industry. They do not know your firm or the project in front of you. The platform connects AI to your models, drawings, and standards, putting your firm's best practices and unique data to work on every project. Integrated with your email, OneDrive and SharePoint, and Autodesk Construction Cloud.

AEC Hub Platform Overview

AEC Hub Platform is the AI layer for architecture and engineering firms. It connects to the systems a firm already runs and answers the questions none of those systems can answer alone.

A firm's project state is scattered. Commitments live in email. Drawings live in Autodesk. Fees live in the ERP. Autodesk owns the model data and cannot read a firm's email. Microsoft Copilot reads the email and cannot open a Revit model. Nobody sits above them, so the questions that span them go unanswered until a person assembles the pieces by hand.

The platform is that layer. A firm connects their own Microsoft 365 and Autodesk Construction Cloud through standard OAuth, with credentials encrypted per firm. Nothing is migrated. The platform reads project mail, OneDrive and SharePoint files, and the firm's own Autodesk hubs, projects, folders and models in place.

From that connected data it does three things.

It tracks what was asked and what was promised. The platform reads project mail and extracts commitments, client requests, decisions, scope changes and risks, each one citing the messages it came from so a principal can verify it in one click.

It checks those findings against the drawings. A commitment about door clearances is connected to the doors in the current model that fail the ADA 404.2.3 clear-width check. A client question about a waterproofing detail surfaces the open RFI already covering it. This cross-system reasoning is the platform's core capability.

It answers questions about the model itself. Eleven computed query types run over a model's own extracted elements: quantities by category, areas, per-level breakdowns, material take-offs, duplicate schedule marks, code checks. Every answer shows its method and highlights the elements it counted.

Additional capabilities include a parametric modeler for office test fits and residential studies, proposal outlines grounded in the firm's real project records, and reply drafting gated behind human review.

Every finding carries its provenance, because firms reject black-box output on anything touching fee or liability. The platform is deployed per firm as a configured implementation rather than a self-serve seat.

About AEC Hub

AEC Hub helps architecture, engineering, and construction firms adopt AI. There are nearly 500 AI tools built for this industry now, and more arrive every month. The hard part is not finding them. It is knowing which ones fit the work your firm actually does, what it takes to put them into practice, and how they connect to the software your team already uses every day. We help firms work through that.

Free AI Assessment Tools

We start with free tools that answer the questions firms bring us.

  • AI Workflow Audit - takes one workflow (construction document production, proposals, submittal review, field reports) and maps its steps and hours. It returns what that workflow costs your firm annually and shows where AI, automation, or a straightforward process change would help. It separates those three deliberately, because plenty of workflow problems turn out not to be AI problems at all, and knowing the difference saves a firm both money and disappointment.
  • AI Readiness Score - assesses where a firm stands across data, process, people, and technology, then points to tools matched to the specific pain points that come up.
  • Proposal Generator - turns an RFP into a structured outline with a compliance checklist built from the solicitation's own stated requirements.
  • RFI Cost Calculator - quantifies what unresolved RFIs cost on a project, which is often the number that makes the case for change internally.

Research and Buyer Resources

Alongside the tools, we publish resources to help teams learn.

  • AI tool catalogue - covers nearly 500 AI tools for architecture, engineering, and construction, organized by category, project phase, project scale, and use case. Each entry describes what a tool does well and where it stops, so teams can evaluate fit rather than read marketing copy.
  • Buyer's guides - compare options within a category for a specific job.
  • Curated stacks - show what a coherent toolset looks like for a particular kind of practice.
  • Benchmark tracker - follows independent evaluations of AI performance on AEC tasks and labels every result by status.
  • Glossary - gives teams shared vocabulary for terminology that is still settling.
  • AEC Intelligence Briefing - covers funding, acquisitions, and product releases each month, so technology leads can keep up without watching the whole market themselves.

Advisory and Implementation

When firms want help doing the work rather than researching it, we partner with them directly. A free AI strategy workshop establishes where to start, based on the firm's own situation rather than a generic maturity model. Implementation sprints follow, putting specific capabilities into specific workflows with the team that will use them. The goal is a firm working differently at the end, not a report recommending that it should.

AEC Hub Platform

We also build our own product. AEC Hub Platform connects a firm's Microsoft 365 and Autodesk Construction Cloud and reads across both. It finds what clients asked for in project email and checks it against what is actually in the model, so a commitment about door clearances arrives alongside the doors that fail the clearance check. Every finding cites the messages and model data behind it. The platform is in private pilot, configured per firm.
