Navisworks Simulate retains aggregation, review, 5D scheduling, rendering, and takeoff capabilities but does not include Manage&rsquo;s clash detection and interference-management toolset. Navisworks Freedom is the free viewer for issued NWD and DWF files. A contractor running coordination meetings needs a different edition from a client who only needs to inspect a published model.
The core workflow is federation and review
Navisworks brings discipline models and construction data into one navigable project view.
