Calcs.com (formerly ClearCalcs) is structural engineering software for design calculations in steel, wood, concrete, cold-formed steel and masonry. Engineers use it to size beams, columns, joists, footings, retaining walls and connections. Each calculation follows the building code it’s built on, including AISC, NDS, ACI, ASCE 7, CSA, AS/NZS and Eurocode.

Spreadsheets and black-box design programs are slow to review. It’s hard to see where a result came from. Calcs.com shows every input, formula and code clause next to the result. That lets the engineer who ran the calculation, the checker and the building official all follow the same logic. Calculations are saved by project and can be reused, shared with your team and exported as clear, stamp-ready reports.

Building product manufacturers use Calcs.com to put their products into the calculations engineers already run. Product data and design rules sit inside the design check, so the right product gets specified when the decision is made. Atlas Tube’s HSS calculators reached more than 2,600 engineers and detailers, who ran 144 calcs in the first 12 months.
