Campus Infobip
Campus Infobip is an 11,950 m² corporate headquarters in Zagreb, Croatia, designed by 3LHD and built by 35 companies between 2019 and 2021. The building stacks a ground-floor parking level, three floors of offices, a public floor with a restaurant and conference room, and three floors of accommodation. A key feature of the project was VOLUM3, a common data environment used to coordinate design, construction, and site supervision across every participant. Each day, 139 users worked on the platform, completing more than 1,700 tasks and generating over 200 meeting reports and 1,200 drafts.

Why this tool/tech was selected
Campus Infobip involved coordinating design, construction, and site supervision across 35 different companies working on an 11,950 m² headquarters building in Zagreb. Managing that many participants with traditional file-sharing and email-based workflows would have made it difficult to keep everyone working from the same up-to-date information, so the project team adopted VOLUM3 as a shared common data environment (CDE) to centralize communication and documentation for the entire team.
VOLUM3 consolidates the disconnected tools that architecture, engineering, and construction teams typically rely on—file storage, task tracking, meeting records, and document markups—into a single platform accessible to every company on the project. That let the Campus Infobip team assign and track tasks, log meeting reports, and manage drawing drafts in one place rather than across dozens of separate channels. With 139 people using the platform daily, VOLUM3 gave the project a single source of truth throughout design, construction, and handover, which was especially valuable on a project of this scale and complexity.
Challenges the Client Faced before
Coordinating 35 different companies across design, construction, and site supervision on an 11,950 m² building presented a real risk of miscommunication and version-control errors if the project relied on scattered emails, spreadsheets, and printed drawings. With that many participants, keeping task ownership clear and ensuring meeting decisions were actually followed through on required a shared system rather than individual habits.
The team also needed a way to give every company, regardless of size or technical sophistication, easy access to the same up-to-date project information without a steep learning curve, so that adoption wouldn't become its own barrier to keeping the schedule on track.
The previous method used
Before adopting VOLUM3, a project of this scale would typically have relied on a mix of email threads, shared spreadsheets, and printed or PDF drawing sets to keep the design, construction, and site supervision teams aligned. Task assignments, meeting minutes, and drawing revisions would have been tracked manually across separate files and folders held by each of the 35 companies involved, rather than in one shared system.
That kind of fragmented workflow makes it difficult to confirm that everyone is working from the latest version of a document, and it leaves task status and meeting outcomes scattered across inboxes instead of a single, searchable record.
Time / Money saved & the Business Impact.
Once VOLUM3 was in place, Campus Infobip's 35 participating companies had a single shared environment for coordinating design, construction, and site supervision instead of relying on scattered files and email threads. On average, 139 people logged into the platform every day throughout the project, using it as their primary workspace for assigning and closing out tasks, reviewing drawings, and tracking decisions from site and design meetings.
Over the course of the project, the platform recorded more than 1,700 completed tasks, over 200 meeting reports, and more than 1,200 drafts submitted through the system. Centralizing that volume of documentation and communication in one place gave the project team a reliable, searchable record of what had been decided and done, which reduced the risk of miscommunication and rework across a project of this scale and helped keep 35 separate companies working from the same information.
