Company Overview

About Gindi Studio

Gindi Studio is an architecture and interior design practice based in Tel Aviv, Israel. The studio is a collective of around 25 designers, architects and architectural engineers who describe themselves as wow makers - a reference to the Milton Glaser line the practice adopts as its standard: there are three responses to a piece of design, yes, no and wow, and wow is the one to aim for.

The studio is led by Vered Gindi, a registered architect who holds a bachelor's degree in philosophy from Tel Aviv University and a professional Master of Architecture from the University of Toronto. After extensive experience in Canada designing and delivering public buildings including schools and community centres, she returned to Israel and established the studio as a leading name in interior design for global and Israeli corporations.

Design Philosophy

Gindi Studio holds that intelligent design results from research, dialogue with clients and stakeholders, and genuine team effort rather than individual authorship. Its work aims to break down boundaries between different interior environments and create spaces people love working in.

Central to the approach is identifying the specific DNA and look and feel a client wants, then resolving it into a single coherent human experience of space. The studio places equal weight on practicality and user experience - a workplace must function efficiently and feel good to occupy, and the practice treats these as one problem rather than two.

Services and Specialisms

  • Architecture and interior design for complex projects
  • Corporate workplace and office campus interiors - the core of the practice
  • Public interiors - civic and shared environments
  • Hotels and hospitality interiors
  • Graphic and product design integrated with spatial work
  • Change management - supporting the organisational side of relocation alongside the design

Technology

The studio combines architecture, interior design, graphics and product design with advanced technology that ties the disciplines together. It works with parametric design, BIM and 3D virtual reality to develop concepts into buildable reality, and is regarded as a leader in Revit within the Israeli market.

VR matters particularly in workplace design, where a client organisation must commit to an environment its staff have not yet experienced. Letting decision-makers walk through a space before construction reduces the risk of expensive late change.

Change Management

An unusual strength is the studio's involvement in corporate relocation as an organisational process, not only an architectural one. Moving a company into a new environment changes how people work, and resistance is common. Gindi Studio supports the internal communication and programme-building side of that transition alongside the design itself.

Clients

The practice has designed workplaces for major global technology and professional services organisations with operations in Israel, including Google, Microsoft, Mobileye, Oracle, Sapiens, BMC, Deloitte, and the development centres of General Motors and Daimler, alongside banking clients such as HSBC, Citibank and Bank Hapoalim.

Market Position

Gindi Studio competes at the top of the Israeli corporate interiors market, where multinational technology companies expect international design standards delivered with local knowledge. Its combination of workplace specialism, technological capability and change management support is a genuine differentiator.
