Concepts is an infinite-canvas sketching app from TopHatch that combines freehand drawing with editable vector strokes, built for design professionals including architects. It sits between quick freehand sketching and full drafting software: users can draw hand-drawn floor plans and building sketches, then refine them to real-world scale using snap, measure, and shape guides plus perspective grids. Concepts supports importing, marking up, and exporting PDF plans so architects can share feedback or revise existing drawings, and it offers CAD-friendly export formats including DXF for moving work into drafting or BIM software rather than relying on screenshots or scans. Premade architectural objects speed up common drawing tasks. Because the canvas never runs out, a single project can grow from rough notes and meeting sketches into more developed drawings. Concepts is used by architecture practices such as Mikiten Architecture and Calderpeel Architects, and is available on iPad, iPhone, Windows, Android, ChromeOS, and the Samsung Galaxy Store.
