Aurecon designs buildings using proven seismic mitigation technologies including sliding hinge joints, which provide low-damage structural connections, and Ringfeder friction springs, which cushion seismic vibrations. Together, these systems let a building move during an earthquake while protecting its structural and architectural elements. Aurecon uses Ideate BIMLink to move engineering data directly from spreadsheets into Revit models supporting this seismic mitigation work.</p>
