Mass Timber Urban Housing

Intelligent City's mass timber technology is aimed at setting new standards in affordable, carbon-neutral urban living. Its product platform offers a scalable solution for a faster and more sustainable housing supply.

Mass timber matters here for two reasons that reinforce each other: it sequesters carbon rather than emitting it during manufacture, and because components arrive prefabricated and dimensionally precise, it suits factory production in a way that cast-in-place concrete does not.

Platforms for Life

The company's approach is branded Platforms for Life. These buildings combine mass timber prefabrication with Passive House performance and efficient design, producing solutions that are highly sustainable, resilient, and adaptable to the rapidly changing needs of society.

Pairing prefabrication with Passive House is a deliberate technical choice. Passive House depends on airtightness and the elimination of thermal bridging - both far easier to achieve reliably under factory conditions than on an open site in variable weather.
