Allianz Field is the permanent soccer-specific stadium home to Minnesota United FC. The iconic feature of Allianz Field is the dynamic skin which wraps around the stadium. To integrate geometric control and PTFE fabric analysis, Walter P Moore created a digital workflow in collaboration with Populous as the architect. This enabled Walter P Moore to rapidly analyze the PTFE skin, adjust the driver pipe spacing so the PTFE wasn't overstressed, and then for the architect to take the new geometry and adjust it as desired for architectural form, which Walter P Moore could then re-analyze. Ultimately, the digitally controlled geometry model of the driver pipes was delivered to the steel fabricator to facilitate production of the HSS pipes. Skender is drawing up plans to manufacture and build the modular units for a 10-story, 144-unit multifamily building in Uptown Chicago and a 7-story, 122-unit multifamily building in West Loop. “We know we’ll get this done 40 percent faster than anyone else and at a higher standard,” said Skender Chief Design Officer Tim Swanson.

FBR Limited (ASX:FBR) is an Australian robotic technology company developing and commercialising digital construction solutions to address global needs. The Company’s first application is Hadrian X®, a revolutionary robotic blocklaying machine and system.

As part of our Building Pilot Program Agreement with GP Vivienda,  FBR has constructed four Mexican-style two-bedroom, one-bathroom house structures using the Hadrian X® at FBR’s premises, with each structure taking less than one standard shift on average to complete.

Two of the structures were built indoors at FBR’s facility, with the remaining two structures built simultaneously side by side outdoors to emulate the most economical operating process for a Hadrian X® in a residential development in Mexico.

Having completed the Pilot Program stage, FBR and GP Vivienda intend to progress the Block Development stage of the Building Pilot Program Agreement, by building additional Mexican-style structures using the Hadrian X® with blocks produced in Mexico.

The Banu Restaurant design includes the interiors and façade replacement for a 2100sm building in Zhengzhou China.  As the Flagship restaurant for a growing and innovative franchise it was important for the client that the project creates a recognizable landmark along the main axis road and be welcoming to the community. Banu Hotpot Restaurant Ceiling and Facade Design

Architect of this project is Studio Link-Arc, and the roof facade design was done by ATLV. Designed as a freeform timber structure, the Pavilion roof uses contemporary glulam technology to create a long-span exhibition space covering a multimedia installation (the centerpiece of the Pavilion’s cultural program) consisting of 22,000 LED stalks integrated into the landscape. FBR has completed construction of its first two storey structure using the Hadrian X® construction robot.

The structure was built on FBR’s premises in a building style commonly found around the world in developing markets, including in key FBR markets such as Mexico, the MENA and GCC region and throughout Asia. This is the first time FBR has demonstrated the Hadrian X®’s ability to build two storey structures, as well as working with design elements like steel reinforced concrete columns, suspended concrete slabs and rebar.
