iGeo is free and open source 3D modeling software library in Java for computational design in architecture, product design, interaction design and more. It includes libraries of vector math operations, NURBS curve and surface geometries, polygon meshes and 3D model file I/O. It also has an interface specialized for processing.

Architects of this project are Studio Link-Arc and Kane AUD, and the ceiling and facade design has been done by ATLV. The Banu Restaurant design includes the interiors and façade replacement for a 2100sm building in Zhengzhou China.  As the Flagship restaurant for a growing and innovative franchise it was important for the client that the project creates a recognizable landmark along the main axis road and be welcoming to the community. Banu Hotpot Restaurant Ceiling and Facade Design

Rhinoceros 3D is a 3D computer graphics and computer-aided design application software developed by the American company Robert McNeel & Associates. Utilizing NURBS mathematical modeling to produce precise representations of free-form, curving surfaces, Rhino is used in industries such as architecture, industrial design, automotive design, product design, and multimedia and graphic design.

Architect of this project is Studio Link-Arc, and the roof facade design was done by ATLV. Designed as a freeform timber structure, the Pavilion roof uses contemporary glulam technology to create a long-span exhibition space covering a multimedia installation (the centerpiece of the Pavilion’s cultural program) consisting of 22,000 LED stalks integrated into the landscape. Grasshopper is a visual programming language and environment that pairs with Rhino 3D, a software program also developed by Robert McNeel & Associates. Grasshopper allows users to build algorithms by dragging and connecting components on a digital canvas. From parametric modeling and fabrication, lighting performance analysis, to building energy consumption, Grasshopper provides an intuitive way to explore design without requiring programming experience.

FBR Limited (ASX:FBR) is an Australian robotic technology company developing and commercialising digital construction solutions to address global needs. The Company’s first application is Hadrian X®, a revolutionary robotic blocklaying machine and system.

FBR has completed construction of its first two storey structure using the Hadrian X® construction robot.

The structure was built on FBR’s premises in a building style commonly found around the world in developing markets, including in key FBR markets such as Mexico, the MENA and GCC region and throughout Asia. This is the first time FBR has demonstrated the Hadrian X®’s ability to build two storey structures, as well as working with design elements like steel reinforced concrete columns, suspended concrete slabs and rebar.

Hadrian X® is the world’s first mobile robotic blocklaying machine and system, capable of safely working outdoors in uncontrolled environments with speed and accuracy. 

Hadrian X® builds block structures from a 3D CAD model, producing far less waste than traditional construction methods while dramatically improving site safety. 

Hadrian X® is capable of building the walls of a house in situ in as little as a day, with no human hand touching a brick.

Chief Technical Officer Mark Pivac provides an update on FBR operations as Hadrian X® builds the first of several houses in the southern suburbs of Western Australia.

FBR is pleased to announce that on Saturday, 11 July 2020, the Hadrian X® finished building the structural walls of its first display home in Dayton, Western Australia.

The Hadrian X® was deployed to the Dayton site on the afternoon of Tuesday, 7 July 2020 in preparation for commencement of building activities the following morning, and completed the structure in three and a half standard shifts.
